In order to boost our CK | Office Technologies activities, we are currently looking for a :

 

Sales Director (M/F)

 

MAIN MISSIONS

Define, lead and supervise the sales strategy implemented within the company in which he/she works, with a view to increasing sales, turnover and sales margins.

As a member of management and future member of the executive committee, he/she occupies a position of great responsibility, central to optimizing sales performance and ensuring the company’s long-term viability.

 

MAIN TASKS

Develop and implement sales strategy:

  • Define the sales action plan clearly and precisely: set sales targets in line with the company’s economic profitability objectives, develop existing and/or new markets, target customers and win new prospects, prioritize operational actions, forecast sales volumes, etc.
  • Establish the sales team’s operating budget (human and financial resources) in close collaboration with general management.
  • Define the company’s positioning, identify market trends and detect growth opportunities in collaboration with the marketing department, based on market studies (prospecting for new customers, competitive analysis, attractiveness of the sector, choice of distribution channels, etc.).
  • Ensure the satisfaction and loyalty of current and future customers by improving and developing the commercial offering.
  • Increase the company’s visibility and promote its image in collaboration with Marketing: with the Marketing team, organize and participate in trade shows, conferences and other professional events as the company’s representative, set up partnerships and sponsorships, etc.
  • Manage relations with strategic partners and/or key account customers: directly negotiate commercial agreements and/or respond to invitations to tender for strategic contracts, the aim being to ensure customer loyalty for the company.

 

Sales team management:

  • Management of a sales team of around 15 people, where you will be in charge of leading, motivating and federating teams around a common sales strategy and passing on strategic information (operational objectives, evaluation criteria…) by organizing and leading team meetings.
  • Organize and coordinate the sales activities of colleagues (department managers, sales representatives) with a view to optimizing individual and collective performance.
  • Evaluate the individual performance of employees through regular interviews: analysis of performance indicators (KPIs), assessment of target achievement, implementation of corrective actions.
  • Support employees in developing their skills: detect any difficulties they may face, identify their needs and propose appropriate training.
  • Act as a reference in support of the sales teams and accompany them in the field when dealing with complex issues, during negotiation phases for example.
  • Participate in the recruitment of new sales department recruits, in collaboration with the Human Resources department.

 

Sales performance monitoring and analysis:

  • Monitor and analyze sales performance indicators: sales results at global level, but also by team, by geographical area or by employee, ensuring that individual and collective objectives are met.
  • Ensure reporting to general management by designing and updating dashboards presenting indicators in terms of sales and profitability (sales volumes, change compared to the previous month or year, amount of profit, realized margin rate, average value of a transaction, conversion rate, etc.) or customer experience (level of satisfaction, intention to repurchase, recommendation rate, etc.).
  • Redirect, if necessary, the sales action plan initially drawn up with general management, and suggest ways of optimizing it.

 

YOUR PROFILE

You have at least 10 years’ experience in a sales role, including at least 5 years managing a sales team.

 

In addition, you have the following strengths:

  • You have excellent interpersonal skills and a strong network in the Luxembourg marketplace.
  • Able to work in project mode, you have a good knowledge of organization within a company.
  • Computer literate, with a taste for innovative technologies.
  • Excellent communication, listening and charismatic skills.
  • Passionate about sales, dynamic and persevering
  • Ability to convince
  • Enterprising and optimistic by nature, you demonstrate autonomy in your actions and work as a team player on a daily basis.
  • Sense of organization and rigor
  • Excellent communication skills (information transmission or research, telephone…)
  • Excellent writing skills (spelling, vocabulary, etc.)
  • Good command of IT and office automation tools (MS-Office)

 

Languages: Fluency in Luxembourgish, German, French and English (spoken and written) is required.

Training: 5 years’ higher education or equivalent (Grandes Ecoles, Business Schools, Engineering Schools, Professional Masters: Business and Sales, Sales Management and Marketing…)
