Our brand CK | Sport&Fitness provides support and sports development for its clients at one of our 4 fitness centers in Luxembourg, as well as in our Sportcenter complex in Kockelscheuer.
IT System Engineer (M/F)
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
As an IT System Engineer, you will play a crucial role in setting up, managing, and optimizing clients' IT systems. You will be responsible for supervising, maintaining, and providing support for IT systems, with a focus on security and performance. You will also be tasked with implementing best practices and technologies to ensure efficient system management. Finally, in collaboration with the team leader, you can propose strategic choices to deliver a resilient and scalable IT infrastructure to our clients.
MAIN MISSIONS
- Configure, administer, and monitor servers and operating systems (Windows & Linux).
- Develop automated procedures for system management (scripting, configuration management).
- Manage virtualized environments.
- Handle network switching operations.
- Implement and oversee backup and data recovery solutions.
- Collaborate with other teams/stakeholders to ensure technological alignment.
- Participate in system migration and deployment projects.
- Manage user requests across various channels.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to clients' infrastructures.
- Administer and close incident tickets according to established protocols and timelines.
- Advise clients/users on IT best practices and equipment use.
- Installation and support of workstations, servers, and network equipment at our clients' locations.
Documentation :
- Document architectures and procedures to ensure a robust and up-to-date knowledge base.
- Write clear and precise technical documentation to facilitate understanding and application of deployed systems and technical solutions.
- Ensure information sharing and access by maintaining centralized and updated documentation.
Veille technologique :
- Conduct continuous technological watch to track evolutions and trends in the IT systems field.
- Identify emerging technologies likely to enhance clients' IT resources, system efficiencies, and infrastructures.
- Participate in conferences, workshops, and training to remain informed about industry innovations.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
Bac+2 in the IT sector
REQUIRED SKILLS / QUALITIES
Compétences techniques
- Mastery of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office 365 ecosystem.
- Experience in network administration, virtualization (Proxmox, VMware, Hyper V), containerization (Docker…), and storage (SAN and NAS, Synology technology).
- Understanding of security protocols and best practices in cybersecurity.
- Knowledge of configuration and automation management tools (Manage Engine, Lansweeper, Terraform, Chef…).
- Experience in switching and networks
Can be a "plus":
- Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- ITIL approach, ISO, CCNA, MSCA would be a plus.
