Our brand CK | Sport&Fitness (50 employees) offers one of the largest indoor sports complexes in the country with a multitude of fields and 4 fitness centers.

In order to strengthen our IT department, we are looking for a person who is motivated by excellence, passionate about innovation, curious, business oriented and eager to offer quality services, for the position of :


Head of IT (H/F)


Reporting directly to the Group’s General Manager, you will manage and make efficient the company’s IT team, ensuring the success of both internal IT projects and IT projects carried out for our external clients.

Among other things, you will have to support, organize and manage the IT team but also to imagine, develop and pilot our “IT” offers for (external) customers.

As a Manager, you will be part of the Operational Committee and you will work in close collaboration with the general management.



Responsible for all internal IT of the CK Group

  • Capture and analyze business needs and translate them into IT and technological terms
  • Define the enterprise architecture, translate it into technical and functional architecture
  • Define the technical roadmap and the technological choices that feed the organization
  • Evaluate the choices in terms of hardware, software, cloud and SaaS solutions, purchase (with the support of the purchasing unit) and deploy the selected technologies
  • Ensure that production is executed according to its SLA and that the systems are available and reliable
  • Analyze the requested functionalities and design and/or implement application solutions
  • Manage all aspects related to IT security (cyber security)
  • Manage IT capacity planning, CMDB, service catalog, project portfolio
  • Manage and implement the main standard processes: incident management, problem management, monitoring, change management, availability management, DRP and BCP tests


Within the Operational Committee, act as a true orchestra leader to define the development strategy of CK’s IT activities

  • Design, develop and manage the technological offers (IT) allowing CK to develop new “IT” activities in the broadest sense (sale of equipment, solutions, services)
  • Continuously monitor existing technologies and emerging opportunities to understand future challenges (for the company’s needs and for its customers) and potentially create new products and services
  • Interact with management to foster growth and cohesion
  • Be a driving force for innovation
  • Represent CK in professional organizations, trade shows and on social networks


In a general way

  • Ensure smooth deployment of technology throughout the internal infrastructure and for (external) customers
  • Optimize technology resources – software, hardware, personnel and expenses – to provide the best value and return on investment to the organization
  • Ensure the quantity and quality of IT teams
  • Coach and develop IT teams to develop talent and maturity
  • Ensure the training and consulting of employees
  • Establish, monitor and control budgets and evaluate the return on investment of projects carried out
  • Implement a clear reporting for the management and the employees
  • Integrate security, legal, RGPD and ecological constraints into the information system and ensure that these constraints are addressed
  • Manage and validate projects entrusted to service providers (development, consulting, etc.)
  • Support internal and external audit processes


Master in computer science (or equivalent), you have 10 years of professional experience in IT, ideally with 3 years in an IT Manager position. You are familiar with infrastructure issues, development environments and security and have the following qualities

  • Leadership, team spirit / customer service orientation (external & internal)
  • Strong command of technology, interest in innovation, permanent curiosity
  • Ability to define and execute an IT strategy for the company
  • Good team management
  • Planning and organization, ability to work on multiple projects
  • Ability to negotiate with suppliers and customers
  • Initiative / determination / perseverance
  • Excellent communication skills, charismatic and convincing
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Good knowledge of the business world and its organization
  • Fluent in French and English, Luxembourgish and/or German will be considered a plus
