Helpdesk IT Technician
(H/F)

MAIN TASKS:
The main tasks of the IT Helpdesk Technician are as follows:
- Provide first-line technical support to users via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues (computers, printers, operating systems, applications, etc.).
- Install, configure, and update IT equipment, software, and applications according to client requirements.
- Manage and follow up on support requests, ensuring a prompt response and efficient resolution.
- Perform regular checks on equipment and systems to prevent failures and optimize performance.
- Monitor open incidents and escalate them to higher support levels if necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of troubleshooting procedures and system configurations.
REQUIRED PROFILE:
Education: Training in IT or equivalent experience.
Experience: Initial experience in technical support or helpdesk is highly appreciated.
Desired skills:
- Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS), networks (TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, DHCP), and common office software (Microsoft Office, collaboration tools, etc.).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with users in a clear and courteous manner.
- Ability to handle multiple requests simultaneously and maintain a high-quality service in a dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to quickly identify the root causes of incidents.
- A proactive, service-oriented approach to addressing user needs.
Languages: Fluency in French and English is essential. Another language (Luxembourgish, English, or German) is an asset.
