We are currently seeking, for our Technical department based in Leudelange, a:

Customer Engineer (M/F)
Permanent Contract – Full Time

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
As a Customer Engineer, you are responsible for the installation, preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as troubleshooting of office equipment marketed by CK. You provide high-quality technical support, both internally and to clients, in order to ensure their satisfaction and the proper functioning of the equipment.

 

MAIN TASKS:

Troubleshooting:

  • Gather and analyze technical issues reported by clients (hardware and software).
  • Identify the cause of malfunctions and provide usage advice in case of improper handling.
  • Diagnose and resolve incidents remotely, while maintaining an in-depth technical approach.
  • Perform software and machine driver updates.
  • Carry out disassembly/reassembly and replacement of defective parts.
  • Check stock availability of parts, place orders if necessary.
  • Collaborate with external technical support (Helpdesk) when needed.
  • Write an intervention report after each assignment.

Preventive Maintenance:

  • Conduct regular checks on the general condition of the equipment.
  • Perform thorough cleaning of the machines (inside/outside).
  • Replace consumables according to procedures.
  • Apply necessary technical modifications.
  • Check integrated communication systems.
  • Systematically document all interventions.

Equipment Delivery and Take-back:

  • Ensure equipment commissioning (assembly, configuration, client training).
  • Organize the removal of old hardware: data backup and transfer, full formatting.
  • Coordinate with the delivery department for on-site installation and consumable management.

Technical Support to Clients/Users:

  • Install printer drivers on workstations and servers.
  • Configure scan protocols in various IT environments.

Administrative Tasks:

  • Prepare technical quotations.
  • Update technical and software documentation.
  • Track spare part orders.
  • Provide regular reporting on field incidents.
 

REQUIRED PROFILE:

Education: Higher education degree (preferably Bachelor’s level or equivalent) in technical or IT fields: electromechanics, electronics, IT, industrial maintenance, etc.
Experience: Proven experience in a similar position is required.

Technical Skills:

  • Mastery of technical skills related to the position (maintenance, networking, configuration).
  • Good knowledge of IT environments, networks, communication systems, and office equipment.
  • Ability to provide autonomous remote technical support, with thoroughness and a sense of service.
  • Good interpersonal skills and customer service orientation.
  • Sense of confidentiality and professional discretion.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Initiative and autonomy in work organization.
  • Excellent stress and priority management.
  • Category B driving license required.

Languages: Fluency in both French and English is essential. Knowledge of another language (Luxembourgish or German) is an asset.
